![]() Except when you lift your ironsights it stutters for 2-3 seconds and by the time it's stopped, he's gone. There's nothing more annoying than watching an area with your rifle, you see a guy running, and you put up the ironsight to get a shot on him. I'm aching to have consistent smooth FPS. It's a shame because Red Orchestra is probably the best FPS out there, for multiplayer at least. There are times when playing on Medium where it runs perfectly (especially on Winterwald for some weird reason), and there are times on Lowest where it's unplayable!? I'm out of ideas and losing patience. Like I said, Medium or Lowest it doesn't make a difference. Yet despite all of this the gains in FPS are minimal. I have done the following ĭisabled more demanding graphical settings (ambient occlusion, field of depth, etc) It's not constant, some maps it's better than others, some parts of a map are better than others (even if the objects are the same.). The thing is regardless of whether I put it on Medium or Lowest, I suffer from stutter. Now it is obviously not explicitly a gaming laptop but it is a good, high performance laptop, more than capable of running RO2. I have a 2GB video card (Radeon M7260X), a 2.9GHz dualcore processor (AMD A9-9410 RADEON R5) and 8GB RAM. I too get crazy stutter quite frequently. I came here to post about this very thing but I guess Ill just use this thread. But yeah, check to see if that is the problem or something like it, or even see if your anti virus is holding things up-make sure RO is given permission to work through the anti virus, real time scanning and firewalls. I have since rebuilt my machine with new components and a new OS and it is no longer an issue. #Red orchestra 2 rising storm reising updateI ended up having to shut down the particular SvHost process that was the windows update one. But don't just look in processes, look in services also. All of the core gameplay mechanics from Red Orchestra 2 are present, such as the cover system and bullet drop.Rising Storm brings in a whole new arsenal of weapons, that relate to the American and Japanese weaponry used in the Pacific Theater, such as the M1 Garand and the Type 38 rifle. Try starting the game up and see if it still stutters, if it does, shut it down and look in Task Manager and see what is running and see where the processor processes are being allocated. Rising Storm is a realistic first person shooter. #Red orchestra 2 rising storm reising installIt used to happen all the time when I had an older OS, like VIsta, that had problems with Windows updates, it never was able to install them, so the svhost program that was in charge of searching and queing the updates up was alway taking a crapload of my processor. The only time I ever got stutter or lagging in the main menu is when the computer I was playing on was busy doing something like a quick scan or downloading Windows updates.
